Job description:
Assist chef and dietary manager with meal preparation in an assisted living facility. Help serve meals at scheduled meal periods. Interact with guest and coordinate beverage service. Keep service station in orderly fashion meeting food and beverage safety standards. Understanding different dietary restrictions and alerting kitchen to residents dietary needs.
Job related physical requirements:
-Able to move throughout the kitchen and serving areas independently.
-Able to stand and walk entire shift.
-Ability to perform service and sanitation functions and assist with food preparation as necessary.
-Ability to communicate with staff to plate meals in accordance to directions provided.
-Able to lift and carry up to forty pounds, bend, stoop, pull & twist.
